Philodendron gloriosum, a classic in plant lover collections, is a crawling terrestrial plant native to Colombia, characterized by heart-shaped and velvety textured leaves with pink margins and lightly visible veins in pale green, white, or pink colors. It is a perfect choice for indoor spaces not only from an aesthetic perspective but also from a functional one, as it has the ability to purify the air by filtering formaldehydes.

Like all Philodendron species, Philodendron gloriosum loves bright indirect light (east-facing windows are the best options) and should be watered when the top two centimeters of the substrate have dried out.

Attention! To check the substrate's moisture level, inserting a finger into the pot at a depth of 2 cm is the best way to measure soil moisture. Therefore, if the substrate feels wet, refrain from watering for one to two days, and if it feels dry, water it.

Attention 2! When watering, consider the size of the pot where the plant is planted, as well as the amount of substrate and its aeration. In other words, do not pour a liter of water into a pot with a diameter and height of 12 cm, as this may drown the plant's roots. It's best to discard excess water from the saucer half an hour after watering.

Best of luck with caring for it! And don't forget to give us updates about your plant using the hashtag #greenmirrors and tag @green.mirrors in your Instagram posts! We promise to share them in stories.
