Plant Genus: Philodendron
Plant Family: Araceae

Fertilizers: Philodendron billietiae is a plant that doesn't require heavy fertilization. However, for optimal plant growth, we recommend using a bio-type fertilizer (we use the BioBizz brand for the plants we cultivate) from early March to late November.
Air Humidity: It is a hemi-epiphytic botanical species that thrives well in environments with lower humidity levels.
Temperature: 18-29 degrees Celsius
Light: Bright indirect light
Pot Height with Plant: 25-35 cm
Philodendron billietiae is a favorite among plant collectors, easily recognizable due to its large and uniquely shaped leaves, especially known for their wavy and ridged edges with vibrant orange petioles.
Like all Philodendron species, Philodendron billietiae loves bright indirect light (east-facing windows are the best) and should be watered when the top two centimeters of the substrate have dried out.
Attention! To check the substrate's moisture level, inserting a finger into the pot at a depth of 2 cm is the best way to measure soil moisture. Therefore, if the substrate feels wet, refrain from spraying water for one to two days, and if it feels dry, water it.
Attention 2! When watering, consider the size of the pot where the plant is planted, as well as the amount of substrate and its aeration. In other words, do not pour a liter of water into a pot with a diameter and height of 12 cm, as this may drown the plant's roots. It's best to discard excess water from the saucer half an hour after watering.
Best of luck with caring for it! And don't forget to give us updates about your plant using the hashtag #greenmirrors and tag @green.mirrors in your Instagram posts! We promise to share them in stories.
