Obtained through the thermal treatment of natural perlite rock, horticultural perlite is an inorganic, granular, natural, and eco-friendly material, containing 77% amorphous silicon dioxide. Due to its granular and porous structure, it has the ability to aerate the soil and absorb water, gradually releasing it.

Horticultural perlite is chemically stable, does not degrade over time, does not burn, and can be used at any ambient temperature.

It can be used at the base of the pot for drainage, mixed homogeneously with soil (for greater substrate aeration), or can itself be a growing medium, serving as an excellent hydroponic environment.
